Alala Longmire, born in Las Vegas, Nevada, has dedicated over nine years to mastering the violin. Her journey as a string musician began at the age of 11 when she took the initiative to become a self-taught violinist. While the violin remains her primary instrument, Alala has also played the viola for six years. During her high school years, she attended the Las Vegas Academy of the Arts, where she participated in the honor orchestra for two years and was selected for the All-State orchestra for one year. Her performance experience includes playing at the Smith Center and collaborating with renowned singer Clint Holmes. Notably, she was selected to perform at Carnegie Hall in New York.

Alala was a member of the Young Artist Orchestra (YAO), recognized as one of the premier youth orchestras in the state. Over the years, she has studied under Dr. Soo Yeon Kim since her junior year of high school.

Currently, she is pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Music Performance at the University of Las Vegas, Nevada, where she studies violin under Professor Wei Wei Le and piano under Valeria Ore. Alala is committed to providing extensive coaching and mentoring, demonstrating strong leadership attributes. She is dedicated to ensuring that all her students reach their full potential as musicians and is steadfast in her support of each student’s journey.
